The story about Bleu Marine - the short version....

The french restaurant Bleu Marine was opened in 1998 by Celine Shen and Olivier Bourdon.

At that time the restaurant was one of the few Western restaurants and the first join venture restaurant in Beijing - the opening became a big event in the local news and among the foreign people living in Beijing.

After three months Oliveir left, but Celine and the staff managed to keep a very high level of French cuisine.

In 2007 Celine og Torben from Denmark got married og Torben became a part of the daily life in the restaurant and there was added some Danish dishes to the menu card.
